⚙️ Rounded Updates
What’s new? - Invoice reminder upgrades
Overdue invoice reminders can give your client a gentle nudge when invoice becomes overdue. While handy, it was a little limited, so we’ve added greater flexibility in the number of reminders and when they can be sent.
You can now send up to 4 reminders anywhere between 1-28 days overdue.
And very shortly you’ll also be able to send reminders before an invoice is due and set the exact time of day reminders will be sent.

What’s coming up?
There’s plenty in store for the rest of 2024!
We’re working away at:
Adopting the Open Banking standard
Signing in with your Google and Apple accounts
Deeper integrations with Stripe and Square for reconciling external payments
Plenty of other improvements across our mobile and desktop apps

▶️ Tax Q+A with Lauren Thiel
Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Tax Time Q+A last month!
If you missed out, here's a replay with all of Lauren's great advice 👇
📍 Tip of the Month - Tax Time Edition
We asked Lauren for 3 things sole traders should do before 30 June to make tax time easier.
Here are her top picks (if applicable/appropriate for you):
Take photos of your receipts + save PDFs.
Make any extra super contributions you want (& fill in the form to claim them!)
Check/keep your car log book if you want to claim for a % of your car expenses.
💡 Growing Your Freelance Career with Martina Donkers
This month, we sat down with freelance grant and evaluation expert Martina Donkers to discuss her approach to building a successful career.
Here's a quick peek:
I've noticed freelancers tend to view their work as a job rather than a career. It's just what they do to pay the bills, not where they’re building skills and looking to progress.
Now, some people don’t want to progress, which is fantastic. But some people do—and believe that if they want to do the career thing, they need to jump back into corporate land and climb the ladder.
But you can actually build a career as a freelancer if you’re strategic about the jobs you take, your skill development, and your professional development.
Want to hear more about how Martina has built her freelancing career and get some ideas for progressing your own?
